Each year we take our Jr. Highers to an incredible weekend event called "believe." It is a quick 24 hour conference that challenges our students to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ! Currently this event is held at the Oregon Convention Center, and we stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Downtown Portland. Most of the information on their webseite is correct, with exception of cost, as we charge a bit more for meals and housing. www.ciy.com/believe

The dates for "believe" are April 30-May 1, 2010. We will leave right after school on that Friday @ 3:30 p.m. and will return that Saturday night at approximately 9:00 p.m. (Students will call home approximately one hour before arrival)

The registration deadline for Believe is Wednesday, March 17. At the time of registration you must pay the $50 registration fee. $25 of that fee is non-refundable.

If for any reason your family is having financial trouble, please contact Scott Lerwick @ scott@drivenstudentministries.org or 503-842-6213, to work out a way for your student to attend this event! Scott never wants a student not to go on any event because of lack of money. So please don't be embarrassed...he would love to work something out with your family.
